We are proud to announce our 8th “100 Emergency Medicine Procedures Workshop”, now in Islamabad. This event will be hosted by PIMS - Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University.

This innovative workshop, the brainchild of Dr. Ash, has been copyright-protected since 2018. Dr. Ash designed this program to equip EM physicians, especially non-trainee doctors, with life-saving and disability-preventing skills in the shortest possible time. Over 10 years, Dr. Ash acquired these 100 procedures while working in top hospitals in London and the UK. Now, he aims to give back by empowering Pakistan’s EM doctors to make a direct positive impact on patient care in Pakistan.

Over the past 6 years, Dr. Ash has trained more than 500 EM physicians across Pakistan, including Karachi, Lahore, Swat, and internationally in Dubai and London. This workshop is unique—no other institute or organization in the world has attempted a similar event.

This list of procedures is a general guide. We may not follow the exact sequence and some procedures may be replaced or adjusted based on the trainees’ skill levels.

Important Note:

Learning these procedures in a simulated environment provides you with theoretical knowledge and the opportunity to practice on mannequins under the direct supervision of NHS consultants. However, to perform these procedures on actual patients, trainees must first practice them under the direct supervision of a specialist at their workplace and obtain sign-off before performing them independently.
